Small Business Recycling Program
The Small Business Recycling program is offered to those businesses that do not generate enough material that would otherwise require a minimum of weekly collection. The small business recycling collection schedule will occur on the same day as the municipal residential collection occurs. (For example, a small business located in Lawrence Township will be collected on the same day as Lawrence Township residents.). The program carries an annual fee of $150. Please note that commercial establishments in the City of Trenton are not eligible for the small business program.
Commercial Recycling
Commercial and institutional establishments who are not eligible for the small business program are required to make their own arrangements for recycling. Please contact a waste hauler for more information on what recycling services the company can provide. In addition, please be sure that the hauler provides documentation on the amount of materials collected for recycling because municipalities must provide tonnage information to the State of New Jersey annually.
